We have just received our phone bill from our trip to Vietnam.
Despite having an eSim and our data mostly switched off, and doing all the blogs on wifi, the costs are absolutely horrendous. We are talking thousands not hundreds of pounds.
The problem is mostly down to issues with our UK suppliers (O2) removing our cap in error, but it also transpires that Vietnam has the HIGHEST ROVING CHARGES IN THE WORLD.
So fellow travelers beware.
